Hoya Starter Care Sheet
Hoya plants are easy to care for, please select a pot that is up to or around 100mm in size, please do not upsize too soon.
Hoya like a well-draining mix, please refer to our “Newbie care sheet” and follow those basic instructions as they are great for Hoya plants.
Hoya can be allowed to dry out between watering and do not like to be left in a mix that will keep them wet for a long time.
Hoya like bright indirect light and they also need a bit of ventilation. Hoya are a slow growing plant, please do not force – grow them and only use half strength fertilizers for example, we recommend potting up plants with one teaspoon of the fertilizer that is supplied, with Hoya, please use half.
