Some plants keep or lose their variegation, and this depends on the type of plant, you may hear that light, food, water or temperature may affect variegation.
This is not the case for every plant, so because of this we do not guarantee that variegation will continue, ultimately you are buying the plant that you see, we sell plants with actual photos on individual listings when plant prices are high, or the plants are very varied with regards to their variegation.
When plants are sold as baby plants, and depending on the species, current variegation is not an indication of future variegation so we sell “off the rack”, if you are concerned about variegation please buy from actual listings so that you have a greater chance of purchasing with the variegation level that you desire.
